(English) There are five restaurants onboard Spirit of Discovery, each with their own distinct character and offering – from the traditional and formal environment of The Grand Dining Room to the English Garden kitchen inspired buffet restaurant The Grill.

(English) The Grand Dining Room

(English) Main dining venue on board, traditional in material selection but contemporary in detail, with a double-height antiqued mirror surrounded in Nero St. Laurent marble, bringing light to the space and connecting the area to The Club above. Windows the full length of the room allow guests the opportunity to dine with great views out to sea. A feature artwork has been hidden in the space for passengers to discover.

(English) East to West

(English) One of the specialty restaurants on board, with Asian-themed fine dining offering. Traditional design elements such as fretwork screens and embroided soft furnishings contrast with a contemporary use of bold colour and witty east meets west artwork paralleling bonsai shelving with the decks of the ship.

(English) Coast to Coast

(English) Exclusive specialty restaurant offering seafood cuisine. Sophisticated and modern, with a light and crisp interior, evoking the design of a classic champagne and oyster bar. Colour pallete and design of the carpet and artwork evoke the sea, pointing to the menu without being obviously themed.

(English) The Grill

(English) Buffet-style restaurant with panoramic views out to sea. In the evening the atmosphere of the room changes with the architectural lighting, providing a formal dining venue at the top of the ship. Specially designed screen contain hidden birds - a design motif found throughout the ship. Traditional botanical paintings by Evelyn Binns evoke the classic English Garden.

(English) Bar, dining and entertainment venue located above The Grand Dining Room. Rich in colour and material to evoke the feel of a cool London jazz hotspot, further luxury is added by a hand-sculpted textile artwork panel, which acts as backdrop to an array of live musical performers.
