In addition to a well-stocked library, guests are offered a dedicated craft space and card room. Furniture by Cassina, Morgan and B&B Italia give a relaxed and easy atmosphere, with custom-made lighting adding to the boutique hotel feel. Artwork and sculptures pick up colours from the interior scheme, and the area also offers fantastic views of the Atrium feature artwork.

We were challenged to create intimate breakout spaces of personality, with a mixture of furniture, decorative lighting and artwork media allowing the guest to find their favourite space within The Library.

"Small details merge past with present, a revised geography that invites the viewer to reflect on their own personal evolving relationship with the sea and coastline."

Helen Burgess, Artist
"The colours and the fragility of this coast are both reflected within my final outcomes."

Julie Massie, Artist
"The shell is indicative of the sea and the wing naturally evokes images of travel, freedom and distance."

"I hope that the work I have created brings the feel of the natural world into the library of the ship."
